Needing You Poem by Char Pattrick

Needing You

Rating: 5.0

Needing you with me
Sadness trickles down my cheeks
I know soon
But never close enough

An air of depression hovers
When alone in the night
Strange how this cloud lifts
When I am just sitting with you

We talk by candlelight
And wake to mornings of coffee
A smile, many kisses
I miss you

Every moment etched in my memory
Takes me to you
But I can't touch you
Oh I want to touch that face

Those eyes sharing expressions
How you are so serious
That you laugh at yourself
And I laugh with you

This is how I feel at this very minute
I miss you
Even though it wont be long
For me the tears say not soon enough
