Need Love Poem by MONCIANA EDMONDSON

Need Love

I need love:
like sun for green trees
honey from the honey bees
the rivers' flow into the seas
a hot summer night's cool breeze

They need love:
like the blood in our veins
water when it rains
wings on airplanes
electrons in our brains

We need love:
like breath borrowed from the air
the warmth of the sun's glare
the caress from our lover's stare
In those eyes passion with no fear
