slowly there gone a planet
green was its nature
just a cool breeze in summer days
it looked after our ancestors
poured water when thirst
challenged their air to inhale
slowly but obvious
naked power ready to occupy
firming lands, mountains,
sea and ocean to flag their childish cradle
our planet our oldest ancestor
smiling and brooding a doom destiny
sharp their nails grip too hard but not as hard
trees hold the soil to keep the earth fixed to the planet
slowly and gently a new dawn
begins to bloom where all the charm of human nature
again comes close to the nature
to read all the necessities of life
as ancestors did in the long past
