Nature's Speech. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

Nature's Speech.

Everything was so better before,
'Cause we used to live in harmony,
'Cause we used to sing the same symphony.
I used to be the goddess that you adore.

You and I shared the same conscience,
But you learned to pollute
And you think you're my master, a master absolute.
You and I used to see the world with the same innocence.

You overthrow my trees, in the name of business.
You kill my rivers, in the name of social popularity.
You hunt my animals, in the name of your madness.

You ignore my pain, in the name of prosperity.
You will kill yourself, in the name of sadic sadness.
If you earn, You destroy metaphysical singularity.
