Nature Poem by Cameron Gallant

Nature

As the bison can't feed without green grass below,
As the people can't live without bison galore,
As the grass grows too long, with no buffalo eating,
As the water feeds all, keeps them living -
With water there are clouds, but the clouds don't move without wind.
Yet there is no wind - without the rising and sinking, cooling and heating,
And all with the star, heating this planet
What use is a star with no person to feel it?
And a person can't be with no plants, you see.
It's nature. All united in the circle of life. Nature.
Take care of the environment. Treat it with respect.
Treat it like an Indian would.
