NATIVE EARTH

Ashes and dust
Earth wind and fire
Deep blue sea in awe
Sands of time
Diverse colors of the rainbow
Faces and shapes of heads
Brown men
Black men
Nomad and settled
Under the world's umbrella
Diverse tongues and speech
Voices distance far
Learning to live and to love
Alive to fear and to hope
To cry and laugh together
Bound together by a string
Red colored blood
Rasta man
European
Japanese
Red India

Black and white men
Tell me what ails you
We all are shipmates
To sink me you must be sunk
Your imprisonment
Is a threat to my freedom
On a voyage
In search of the ultimate reality

Now I caught me thinking
To notice what's vivid and clear
What's diminishing and ready to change
On this native earth
If the heavens fall
All shoulders would bear it
We must sing together
Without fear
And dance together
In hope

Beautiful piece of poetry depicting the interrelatedness of reality - the need for all and sundry to foster, and perpetuate the universal brotherhood of man. A well articulated poem insightfully penned with conviction. A lovely piece indeed. Please read my poem POETIC MASTERPIECE.
