Naivete Poem by Ezra Scarlet

Naivete

They laugh.
They smile.
They think the worlds okay.
All the while passing
Homeless people each day
I will not correct you.
I will not judge you.
I will not pull that wool from your eyes.
But tell me this, answer me please.
When this world has broken you, and beaten you down.
Will you still have that naivete, or will you wear a frown

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I guess i just kinda notice how naive the people are around me. How oblivious they are to the horrors of the world.Thats probably what inspired this.
