Mystery Lady Poem by Bobby Marbles Mobley

Mystery Lady

Rating: 4.9

You brightened my life for a moment
And then you slipped away
The sweetness of your memory
Ghostly haunted me at night
As it quietly turned to day
The morning sun shined so brightly
On the path you left behind
And your footprints oh so lightly
Forever etched in sands of time
The morning dew left a trace
Of your faintly smiling face
A hint of perfume in the mist
Lingered long for flowers kissed
Your name was whispered in the air
And left suspended lightly there
Your shadow sadly fades away
With the brightness of the day
Was this moment trapped in time
A drifting dream, vain hope of mine
Printed on this heart of love
Written by the God's above
A special moment just for me
to fade into eternity
