Mysterious Depth Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Mysterious Depth

hang a lantern
aloft in the soft moist
travelers hasten toward sea

float upon a dangerous
violent angrily waves
sail to shade of fate

O men! could you really feel
what adventure lurks in
mysterious depth?
