Mysery Poem by olumide emmanuel

Mysery

Demonic, tormenting thy companion,
Lurking to entice for a union
Unwelcome visitor will, but decline
Misery stays for good, not mine

All my riches since you have plundered,
My joy ravaged, my life battered
Shall I say i have a fill of thy savagery?
My rhyme shall be my mournful delivery

I foresake thee now and forever
Take thy baggage me never remember,
My life, a precious waste you made
My struggle's my strife to recover your raid

Hence, my song my theme be still,
Thee, I banish evermore to hill
