Myriad Poem by D.N. Rebb

Myriad

Only inspiring poise
And melodious sensations
Yet, with a strained voice
Since the beginning of creation
Rescued fool,
Have thee forgotten erstwhile?
Only following procedural rules
In thou traditional style
Or art thee recovered forthwith?
With thou irrational assumptions
And conventional myths
That lead to ideal envisions
Reciprocal goodwill
Preach thy salvation
Quicken that fulfill
In this, now, central situation
Thy nameless dread art eased
Reveal this crucial moment
With cherished blessings received
As the initial consideration art noticed

A myriad of existence shimmers like an eclipse,
Less hours now to interpret the divine acclaim it scripts

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
the word, myriad, fascinated me. it's a large indefinite number. So I had to try writing it in a Shakespearean style
