Mygraine Poem by Helen Gaudin

Mygraine

Light flickering around the edge
Sight inwards
Chaotic vision
Pressure building
Heaviness bearing down
Dark overlay rising

Light shining on the underside
Spiralling down
Deep within
Becoming lost
Floating amongst stars
Sparks lighting darkness

Inside everything expanding
Dark, dark, light
Heavy, heavy, tight
Until released
Disconnected
Dropping into the dark
