My Warm Blankie Poem by lochlan packer

My Warm Blankie

warn and sift you are.
many pleasant times we shared.
but i have been away to far
but to snuggle with you again i dared

when I'm with you I'm warm and safe
the nightmares fade away and they cease.
without you i have felt is a chafe.
like the golden fleece you are.

so warm and wanting to snuggle
for this poem is all around tame
in another country you i would smuggle
so now's the time to give your blankie a name

I like blankie (blanket) and sift (soft) - Scottish dialect? Good job
