My Sunshine Poem by Simon Chamoun

My Sunshine

Rating: 4.0

The Temptations Got their Girl
On a Cloudy Day
But I got Sunshine
During my Hurricane
They only guessed you'd say
what made them feel that way
I'll tell you what to say
She's the one for me

A decade passed with you
in a very faraway land
A Few days ago we chatted
walking hand in hand
I was so close to your face
its gorgeousness I scanned
Another blessing from the universe
a meeting never planned

I wish to make a habit
of seeing you more often
Your presence fills my desert
you will become the reason
I live an endless spring
an only flowers season
A life of sharing caring
love, and endless passion

For rising through my dark days
I'm ever thankful Sunshine
I'll play it all rightly
make sure your eternally mine
Adore you unconditionally
a love true, honest, and benign
My goddess you shall be
my everything, my divine

My Sunshine
