My Someone Special Poem by Robert Edgar Burns

My Someone Special

Rating: 5.0

A girl I can count on
Through thick and through thin.
A woman's dear heart,
Who let me right in.

A partner, a lover,
A helper and friend.
Through good times and bad,
She's there till the end.

My best friend forever,
We love to hold hands.
Sharing kisses with my love,
Make me glad I'm a man.

We sing and we dance,
And share laughter and awe.
I still have to marvel,
What in me she ever saw.

In the intimate moments,
Where passion does shine.
She proves over and over,
That she forever is mine.

With walks on the beach,
I know other heads turn.
They're not watching me,
But are jealous and yearn.

Then I have to smile
And look up toward the clouds.
And give thanks for this angel,
Who makes me so proud.

Who dear is this angel
Who won me with her charms?
It's the girl who has placed me
Securely in your arms!
