My Sister Left Home...Part Ii Poem by sania harris

My Sister Left Home...Part Ii

Rating: 5.0

My sister left home
She has gone to Rome
At first I was happy
But now I am sad, unhappy!

My room is in a mess
Every nook has my sock, shoe and dress
My room would have been better
She always made it brighter!

I miss her now as I think of it
But I thought I wouldn’t miss her, even a bit
Things have changed, they always do
Now everything is dry, it’s hard to move!

I wish that terrible day had not come
This loneliness…it’s making me go numb

So, if you have a sibling,
Love her very dearly
Because you’ll only know her value
When she goes far away! ! !

Changes in life are a hard lesson to learn to live with. But God gave us the telephone and the internet so we can keep intouch. But time away makes a heart understand the blessings of its loss. God Bless, Great words. Linda
