My singularly best moment in Life,
Was when you agreed to become my Wife,
And how with me, throughout the years,
You’ve stayed.

Life with me has now become,
Not what, with Me, is expected by some,
To enjoy each others company, each day,
Cannot, with us, be that way,
For my work has meant us living apart,
And to give it up, would not be that smart.
For the hardships that we now face,
Are those that hit the Human Race,
When circumstances beyond our control,
Begin, on each other, to take their toll.

I have not got the answer today,
To grant your wish, for me to stay,
To be with you, to finance your life,
To remove from you pain and strife,
And to give to you, comfort and more,
With you my Wife, the one I adore.
