My Selective Poem by melinda mackey

My Selective

you take one look at me.
you study my wardrobe.
hair creation examining me from head to toe.
make up name playin the crakin' game,
so now u da class clown? ....woah!

see everyone is laughin' include n me, but im laughin'
for da reason being, that you to scared to face reality.

i am unique.

yet you wish to have my style?
ok, so if you want it den' take it, but you cant, so you won't.

now who has the last smile?

see your afriad of me not because of my strengths.
but because of my intelligence, my introspective.

you attempt to try me.
but sike n you out is my selective.

you can not harm me.

in any form of fashin nor' way.
yet you work so hard tryin to raise the bar.
to bad your an opsticle i refuse to let get me day by day.

i will not, naw scratch dat.
i shall' not stoop down to your level, cause i have something that your without.

i have the courage and the wisdom somethin you know absolutely,
nothing about.
