Young Generation Poem by melinda mackey

Young Generation

This young generation is so sad,

mothers killing daughters.

Sons killing dads.

This young generation need to stop and think.

Do I really want to go to prison for life,

because of what I chose to drink?

Next generation, might not make it,

because of the actions taking place,

of the young generation of today.

Instead of trying to help one another,

we try to kill anyone who gets in our way.

Help, by getting an education in school,

stay there till' you get a degree.

Help by giving back to the poor

and help save the community
