My Rejuvenating Hajbira! Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

My Rejuvenating Hajbira!

I fumbled for words to praise the face of Hajbira
and tumbled down from the top of love-scraper
to breathe my soul out and blow it towards Africa
for breezing on her beauteous face that looks at India.
Her English tongue and awesome gaiety
flight my wings of fancy to roam in the floral world
where the flowers of sweetening odour
make me fall in a nap with dreams of wonder.
O my God, fetch me out of that bewitching world
or else I would drown in her deep ocean of love.
Send some blessing angels down to earth
to heal the wounds she has made in my heart.
If we are born together in our next birth
in some peaceful lovely land in this globe
let us roam together in the ethereal world of charm.
