My Prayers Ascend Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

My Prayers Ascend

Rating: 0.5

This empty heart sits in beautiful dusk
Waiting for the stars
Waiting for divine help
Do I pray, yes?
Do I believe, yes?
Oh well! Life on life's terms

The trees turn deep green
The sky becomes dark
Spring is so lovely
To be alone in it hurts
Come soon my love
My prayers ascend
