My poem, my life, my soul
That you listen and relate, my goal
I write from the heart
I put my emotions into art
I'm painting pictures of hope
Mending hearts they broke
My words are so loud, they shout
To call them mine, I'm so proud
There is light, there is darkness too
Life is a battlefield, they walk you through
Broken hearts and souls, my duty
Putting up hopes and smiles, I do it
Whenever I feel I let my heart write
And so I believe every word is right
