My Pink Teddy Bear Poem by Lily Indiana Mason

My Pink Teddy Bear

I do not smile for one reason
You heartlessly abandoned me
Only seen once a season
I’m left bored and lonely
Stuck on a wooden shelf
With no possible escape
You ignore my rustling voice and think of yourself
You don’t see my shoulders sag from the tape
I’m punished for smelling a bit
My sad eyes cry when the ceiling I hit
