My Pain Poem by Nyki Thomas

Have you thought of pain before?
Do you know of a pain
Where there is no cure.
And tears come as rain?

Have you felt the mist of darkness?
How the pain is all around
Where everything is loveless
And you can't hear a sound?

Well then, let me tell you
How you brought this pain to me.
For it was all about you
Who came as honey to me.

You were so sweet to me
And I gave my heart in.
Yet because you were my candy,
You did win.

You won my heart
Yet wanted more.
You had wanted all the other parts
And made my heart sore.

You came night after night,
Seeking what you desired most.
Even upon moonlight,
You came like unto a ghost.

Secret, was our love!
Where nothing could drag us apart.
And where at night we'd see the stars above,
Dancing with our hearts.

Yet you were heartless.
Love was in the air,
And you gave into a blindness.
Which started a tear.

Surcumbed, you were,
Leaving my side.
You became a flower,
Drawn to her side.

With a fatal kiss you were drawn,
Into her gursom lair.
There you had withdrawn,
And left me in despair.

Here is my pain I felt!
I want it no more.
For it was heart felt,
And it has no cure.
