My Nostalgia Poem by Alyssa Baker

My Nostalgia

A realization
A sudden epiphany
Full of nostalgia
For that beautiful day

Where the sun would rise
And colors fill the heavens
Draped over the world
Such a glorious light

The crimson light
Fought all fiends
To batter them
To be rid of all burdens

The violet-blue takes control
Full of obscurity
Like silhouettes the clouds danced.
They danced

Like a mirror the river shines
The coral colored ocean, still as can be
With a single blemish in form of an isle of light
For the heavens to touch the earth

A picture of beauty
An undying vision
That will forever be
And never fade

To know of the elegance
To see it for real
Is forever sacred
But now to forever be
My nostalgia
