My Mother's Love Poem by JoAnn McGrath

My Mother's Love

Rating: 5.0

My Mother's love sometimes is...
soft as a petal on a rose
Sometimes it's the enforcer
'Tough Love' it's called I suppose

It maybe quiet as a whisper
or an echo from mountain top
Filtering down from heaven
to find the perfect spot

Sometimes you find her love
worn upon her sleeve
And sometimes it's undercover
waiting to be weaved

Sometimes it it so deep
as a river can be wide
Sometimes it takes on lofty flight
where only God resides

I hope that I have learned from her
what other's would not share
There is no other Mother's love
on earth that can compare

JoJo, you are lucky to have that mother's love. This is a warm and wonderful loving tribute to it. Top Marks from me. Thanks for sharing it my friend. David
