My Love, My Creation Poem by Ruma Chaudhuri

My Love, My Creation

Rating: 5.0

Like a storm in the desert
Like a wave in the ocean
I came to be your friend
With uncontrolled emotion.

Like a morning breeze
That blows on the earth
You feel my emotions
And fill up my heart.

When I become rough and destructive
Your gentle touch makes me cool and creative.

In my mind you are an image of peace and salvation
In my eyes, you are my love, my creation.

This is a very nice tribute to a friend whom you presumably admire. The words have gently flown out from your heart, and that's why the poem is so nice. 'I came to be your friend With uncontrolled emotion.' - Why with 'uncontrolled emotion? The 2nd stanza is very nice! When your friend feels your emotions and fills up your heart, and you can feel that, that should be a heavenly feeling. 'In my mind you are an image of peace and salvation In my eyes, you my love, my creation.' - So wonderful! Simply brilliant! I have rated this poem 10/10.
