My Love for You

My love for you
Is more delicate
Than new leaves
Of spring.

My love for you
Is more fragrant
Than rose buds
To bloom.

My love for you
Is more brilliant
Than morning rays
Of sun.

My love for you
Is far deeper
Than still water
Of lake.

My love for you
I hold it dear
You merely glance
Let go.

Poem of the Day

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
