My Love for You

My love for you can never turn cold
My love for you can never grow old
My love for you can never fade
My love for you can never be dead

My love for you is unconditional
My love for you is always special
My love for you is through thin and thick
My love for you is as hard as a brick

My love for you is for real
My love for you can never be killed
My love for you is above the law
My love for you is very pure

My love for you is always strong
My love for you can never go wrong
My love for you does not last with my breath
My love for you goes on after my death

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
