My Little Heart And My Phone Poem by Paul Foulkes

My Little Heart And My Phone

my tiny samsung d600e orange network phone holds my small insignificant heart
why do i trust my heart something so dear to me and my existence to a small piece of plastic and wires?
its not for love of machines or technology or cold expressionless things
its not for security since my heart like my phone can be stolen away just as quickly
its simple very simple ^^
its for my hearts happiness
my heart is contented in his new home
my cellular device
dancing joyfully at its new home
he knows im always going to gaze at him
when i need the time
or need to contact someone
or just be reminded what day it is; p
my heart whenever he needs me can ring me anytime he wants
my phone if it falls will shatter and brake into tiny peices but my heart will still be held within it snuggly and secure
a machine of plastic and tiny flickering lights cant brake your heart it can only brake itself thats why i entrust the most sacred and most valuable thing i have to a tinny little mobile
