My Life Poem by Jessica Henning

My Life

Rating: 5.0

The life I live is one of its own
For no one really knows what is hidden behind this little girls smile
After seventeen years ive never felt so alone
No ones made this life worthwhile

The one guy I trusted tore me apart
He couldnt stand my tears and pain
Now he passes me in the halls and tells me im really smart
I might as well get on that long black train

The mother I thought I had
Finally told me what she thought
She accused me of spreading around accused me of being bad
But I havent forgotten what I was taught

The truth is real
My hearts forbid
No one cares about how I feel
But in my heart ill never forget what he did

That night he took my pride
And gave it all to him
He got all inside
And gave a crazy grin

How can get back the life that you once led
When he came onto you and took it all away
you chuckled when i bled
you left my innocence astray
