My Humble Pie Poem by Andrew Joseph

My Humble Pie

I toss my mind wonders,

I turn my heart thunders,

How do I say sorry?

Not just the word but truly sorry,

Not just for the sake but for the sake of our story,

Should I say it while on my knees,

I don't care who sees,

Wonders never cease,

For my sake in me it gives you belief,

I know it'll give me sigh of relief,

You took empty me,

With honey you filled my heartpot,

It means a lot,

Each smiling side has a face frown,

So do human we come in twos,

We perform at our best and at times at our worst,

Can't promise I'll be perfect,

All I know wouldn't hurt you meaningly,

Am sorry, truly sorry I am
