My Horizons Are Not Too Broad Poem by royston serrao

My Horizons Are Not Too Broad

My horizons are not too broad
But still i try to keep my mind at ease
Oh! how did i commit that crime?
But it was worth fighting for peace

My horizons are not too broad
But still that night comes to play in my eyes
It was over when i yelled
This was the eleventh time

My horizons are not too broad
But i know im strong on my part
I slit his throat, the one who gave me my name
It was then, when he crossed his shame

My stories will tell my memories of fear
Oh mamma! how i needed you near
Now i keep my mind at peace
As i know my horizons are not too broad
