My Heroine Poem by Ethan Lawnd

My Heroine

Rating: 5.0

You're like a drug
Put you in my vein
When I feel down
You take away pain

When you're gone
The withdrawals come
Detox from you
Feeling cold and numb

A distant heroine
You are my heroin
A mystifying heroine
You are my heroin

Taking the heroine
A good bad mistake
False joy
A love that's fake

The high ends
I'm dead again
Free from you
Sober, amen

The lost heroine
You were my heroin
The dead heroine
You were my heroin
