My Hell Lies In Your Wonderland Poem by Cassandra Hooper

My Hell Lies In Your Wonderland

Your crown has tarnished
Your kingdom is dead
Your sky is streaked
With shades of red
You were never a king
Just a peasant in disquise
I could see the end of our world
As it glistened in your eyes
And I knew I shouldnt breathe
Shouldn't pray for another breath
Just sit there patiantly
And await impending death
Its what we're here for
We arent meant for imortality
We're all just drowning
In an endless infinite sea
So kiss me
Or kill me
Drain me
Leave me empty
Spill my blood
Take my life
Sign my initials
On the blade of your knife
You took my wonderland
Turned it into living hell
But I'll make you pay for it
Just look how far you fell
Theres nowhere to go from here
But even further down
So leave your dreams behind
Because they won't save you when you drown
