My Heart Poem by Lynn Marie

if only you could read my heart
youd see the pain inside
its not a nice place
really cold and dark

its like an empty room
no one to keep it warm
i dont know if it will last
its on its way to doom

its has a massive hole
right though the middle
i dont know how to fix it
should be filled with dryed out cole

it might as well just have one last beat
i tell you its to alone
and to dark to live
i might as well give in to defeat
