My Flaws Poem by Felix Emeka George

My Flaws

Rating: 4.5

I am cursed with loyalty
When I take on any course
I ascribe loyalty to it

I hurt myself to stand by others
I stare into the dark for another men worries
Whilst they sleeps

I pray the gods to lift this curse
The weight is heavier than
The burden of atlas

My heart is scarred
My back is broken

All characteristics are a two edged sword. I understand your meaning very well since loyalty is one of my attributes or some might say, flaws. Good poem. Simple yet meaningful.
