My Fears Poem by Jay Bigger

My Fears

Fears are found in us all
Even amoung the bravest
We try hard to hide them
But they never escape us

Mine are hard to describe
They live deep in my heart
There are so many
So where do I start

There are the common fears
Which are found in us all
The ones that don't really matter
And cause no downfall

Some hurt to imagine
Others have become reality
Losing a dear friend
Was a frightfull fatality

God has gifted me strength
Which pulls me along
My fears try to crush me
But still I stand strong
