My Eyes Search For New Horizon Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

My Eyes Search For New Horizon

MY EYES SEARCH FOR NEW HORIZON
I'm not proud to claim this world is mine
Where I might be shot dead for beliefs I hold
My religion might turn cause of my despair.
The whole earth might tremble with such a fear.

They enjoy to ensure dreadful evil spirits
As wise and faithful adopted virtuous sons
To enrich the selfish motives with them
Monsters all grow enough in the long run
And chew the flesh of whole world then.

So as to glorify the name of cheap revenge
Innocent people are killed in a series of bombardments
The streets get flooded with river of human blood
The sky cracks with cries of scattered alive lives
Then, the world feels proud to manage feast for vultures.

Invasion, inequality and discrimination
Combine together to misguide the revolution
Brotherhood, mutual respect and understanding
They do prefer to bury deep inside the earth
The bird of peace flies away in another world.

Hence, my eyes search for a new horizon
With a new Sun and new Moon
Where there is no pray for any religion
No countries and no divisions.
Let it be the dream of every one.
