My Downfall. Poem by Victor Matthews

My Downfall.

I fall everytime.

I'm careful,
and I walk slow.

I gain confidence,
though I shouldn't,
that's my downfall.

I hesitate, then plummet.
I know it's my fault,
and I accept the blame.

But you didn't even try to help.
