My Desires Poem by Deshawn Johnson

My Desires

My only wish
is for my soul to be infinite.
My name will be on the list
of those who are in the senate.
Not the political form
but the spiritual norm.

My only wish for tomorrow
is to let go of the pain.
Exile from sorrow
Rid myself of the stain
Not literally
But mentally.

My only wish for others
is to find their internal.
I feel for my brothers.
Let them dodge the eternal inferno.
Not the literature
but from the sorcerer.

My only wish for family
is for them to be secured.
My seeds will be all they can be.
Their souls will not be detoured
Not by traffic
But from the evil tactics.

My only wish for you
is to find your own legacy.
No matter what you do
do not fall into the tragedy.
Not the performance
But the diabolical stance.
