Keep me closer, draw me nearer
Keep me secured and rooted
In the knowledge of your word
Let it light my path with truth
Let it guide my life with love
Affix my heart to your will
Until you become my desire,
My passion, my goal, my source
And my hunger, my only need
The very bread that nourishes
And molds me into your workman
Until you become my daily longing
My thoughts, my life and my all
