My Brother's Love

Once again October is here
Your birthday's on my mind
The happy years of childhood
Are always there... I find.
My big brother tall and handsome
So proud I was of you
It wasn't fair, I'll always care
You had such dreams to pursue.
But life gets in the way sometimes
And I pray to God above
For you to still find happiness
Oh, how I miss my brother's love.

Really a very poignant poem. The love of brother will always be missed. Life has its own ways which we human beings cannot foresee. Only memories of old days remain with us to cherish. Thanks a lot for sharing, Marilyn.
