My Bestfriend

so caring and generous
your my best friend
So daring and mischevious
Id go with you across the world
To either end
The moment I met you my life spun and swirled
And being with you has become more than habit, its a trend
The time I get with you I gotta have it
Im not gonna pretend
If you ever need me call me
Ill always have my hand to lend
Im honest about all so you can see
I dont want it to end
If i ever lost you
There would be no end to my plee
For you there's nothing i wont do
I hope you understand
Just how much you mean to me
Its no longer hypothetical
Not 'oh the best friends we could be'
We are, and will remain
so lets start on a runaway train
We're two in the same

Poem of the Day

poet Ralph Waldo Emerson

Knows he who tills this lonely field
To reap its scanty corn,
What mystic fruit his acres yield
At midnight and at morn?
