My Beloved City Poem by AngelLucianna Vesna

My Beloved City

Rating: 4.0

As our beloved city lament over its trouncing loss…there are no tears…
As our beloved homes become vacant and even blank…there are no fear…

How astounding are our people? How amazing are their spirit?
Cry? What cry? I can hear none?
The only sounds in this humble - once sunny paradise is -
The howling of wind amongst the trees & the raging water down the murky stream…
And don’t forget the distant sirens & the wooing sound of the helicopter flying high above this disheartening tragedy…

My friends…are you sinking deep or awaiting for help pitched? ? ?
My neighbours…are your hearts broke from disbeliefs? ? ?
My People…are your soul silent from grieves?

Torrents-absence Current-dearth Tide of the king-swamp…
How far? How deep are those treasures from yesterday?
How one? How anyone including me can aid in your mist to calm the defeated reality…

Bring love, bring hope, bring glad tidings, bring whatever you can!
To those who no longer feel but only numb from disbeliefs’
Courage, audacity, and fearless braveries…

You are awesome & even awe-inspiring to the entire world to see!
Let all rest now and attain new strength,
And please bow your head and say to “Thee”…
Lord…Please be with those who are utterly - truly- deeply in needs.

Amen…
