My Beloved Cheese Poem by Farah Fatehali

My Beloved Cheese

Like lambs, you frolic lightly in fresh fields.
In life, you are the water to my drout.
Since everyone says opposites attract,
Will you become sweet to my sourness?
Like Saturn, I shall put a ring on it.
If not, my name would not be a cracker.
Oh how sweet are you my lovely dairy,
You are by far the most amazing cheese.
But, we'll soon be eaten by a human.
We'll live eternally in their stomach.
Let's hope we don't get chopped up by their teeth,
Cause then I won't be able to see you.
Even though we are both about to die,
I love you and I hope you feel the same.
