I kiss you
Hold you
You ask
Who you'll run to
I remove my mask
Smile and scold you
I love you
I want to stay
Yet life calls elsewhere
And im pulled away
As i speak
I feel my heart tear
Its my life
With no control
To what i bear
Tears roll down your cheek
Your lip quivers
My knees weak
My body shivers
All returns to bleak
I raise my mask
My painted face
And hand it to you
Stay strong
Stay true
Hide the tears
Remember me
And forget your fears
Wear this
And begin anew
Without the pain
You always knew
Without the rain
That shadows you
Without loss of gain
I kiss you
Hold you
Be who you run to
I turn my back
Board my plane
With letter shaped scars
That spell your name
