Oh my Amie
It is not mine to promise tomorrow
Today my heart is filled with love
As we know, love affairs are only borrowed

Promise Amie, Rain of love shall cascade
Our hearts must always beat together
Never let the sun bake away tomorrow's dream
Is love ours Amie
Or has love become a feather
Adrift until unseen

I weep Amie
Life has filled me in a moment
This I can not see

Days that slip between tomorrow
Amid fragrance of pink petals
A smell I love, So sweet
Beneath blue skies in golden meadows
Where dreams are, Make Believe

And so as the wonder ages green
Again another fear engaged
Silent I must be
For if my silence breaks
The love of you I feel
Shall fall into an empty sea
