.musical Chair Poem by Vidyadhar Durgekar

.musical Chair

Peeping beyond the horizon,
Over the greens of hilly Amazon,
Brighter than the lights of neon,
Spreading the brightness of Zion,
Shining bright silvery rays of the sun,
In the morning for the day to come;

Darkness slips out of the window,
To the far end of the fading shadow,
Making way for light through the door,
Taking along with it the obscure shadow,
Like clouds of ignorance in soul hollow,
Leaving behind the light to follow;

Night slowly fades its shady arms
as day spreads the lustrous charm
Bringing with it the radiant brightness,
And the Day’s promising solace
After a night long romance
In the nocturnal romantic cosiness

Flower blossoms in morning twilight
Spreading fragrance through the daylight
Night blesses everyone to sleep,
Day permits conscious to keep
During the day everything we abide,
Night welcomes the mischief to hide
