Music The Heart's Harp Sings Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Music The Heart's Harp Sings

A loathsome melody tonight,
Though yesterday it was mellow and
Full, with it's melodious undertones.
We toasted our love to its rapturous melody,
Whispering between our heart beats...
Then suddenly you were gone,
My hearts' harp now lay crushed and
Tarnished in the graveyard of broken dreams.
Your memorial stone is oh so cold!
